I have been the Massage Therapist for the Healthplex since January of 2008. I also work full time as Events and Development Specialist for Baptist Health Systems. I am a 2006 graduate of the Mississippi School of Therapeutic Massage, and licensed through the state of Mississippi and the NCBTMB. After massage school, I went on to receive my Bachelors of Arts and then my Master’s Degree in Business Management from Belhaven University. I received my Massage Therapy Instructor’s License and taught at the Mississippi School of Therapeutic Massage from September 2011 to April 2012. My training includes modalities such as Swedish, Esalen massage, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Sports, Tui Na, Acupressure, and Lymphatic Drainage.
I was honored as a finalist in Jackson Free Press’ Best of Jackson Awards: Best Massage Therapist from 2009-2015, winning first place honors in 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014. I was also recognized by Belhaven University for my Master’s thesis entitled Managing Gender Bias in Massage Therapy. In May 2011, I participated in a month-long medical massage internship in Beijing, China, where Traditional Chinese Medical doctors taught both acupressure and Tui Na style massage. Throughout the internship, I performed massage on patients receiving care at the Beijing Massage Hospital. I was awarded Caregiver of the Month for Baptist Health Systems for December 2013. In the spring of 2014, I was one of twelve therapists in the country selected to participate in a Hospital Based Massage Therapy Internship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In November 2019, I continued my studies in Alajuela, Costa Rica with coursework focusing on how to support clients battling depression and anxiety.
I am passionate about massage and feel blessed to work in a field that I deeply love. I have seen first-hand how massage can change lives. Having the opportunity to work as a massage therapist has definitely changed mine. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

I am a licensed massage therapist working for the Baptist Healthplex in Clinton and Jackson, MS. I have been officially licensed since March 2012 by the MS State Board of Massage Therapy. I have a passion for specializing in Sports Massage as well as Deep Tissue and Shiatsu Therapy along with Swedish massage. I attended The Mississippi School of Therapeutic Massage in January 2011 and graduated with a Diploma in Massage Therapy in October 2011. I began researching massage therapy in January 2010 and I developed that future passion for it once I realized the many different ways it could provide such a positive impact on a person’s life changing purpose.
As a Massage Therapist I enjoy listening to clients stories of their current conditions so that I can figure out what brought them to their current pain state. I truly owe all of the achievements to my teachers from the Mississippi School of Therapeutic Massage being that I utilize every possible step I’ve previously learned from the school as well as any new techniques that I have learned along the way of mastering my craft. Nothing makes me happier than to see a client smile after their session. It proves that I’ve succeeded in providing them with the relief they seek.
Massage Therapy is a combination of muscle manipulating techniques via either active engagement of the client and/or passive engagement of the therapist. On April 13TH, 2014 I began specializing in a newly acquired modality called Myofascial Release Therapy, which is a more advanced version of deep tissue massage. Since working at both Healthplex locations, these places have allowed me to meet all different sorts of people from all over the country and some I have even attained the opportunity to work with. The experiences are very heartwarming and I cherish every moment. I look forward to meeting more new people with the hopes of providing positive impacts in their lives via the use of massage therapy. So please feel free to give me a call any day of the week on my cell phone at (601) 896-4934.
I am a massage therapist licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy and a graduate of Healing Touch Massage School in Jackson. I am very passionate about my work and I strive to help my clients improve their overall health and wellness. I am always in pursuit of expanding my knowledge base and applying it to my client’s needs. Truly, it makes me feel honored knowing that I can help others with a God-given talent. Massage therapy is beneficial for many reasons; post-surgery rehabilitation, increasing athletic performance, or simply for relaxation purposes.
Along with massage therapy, I also enjoy anything outdoors, exercise, road trips, corny jokes, and spending time with friends and family. I am also a wife and mother to a beautiful baby boy.
